  • Sing, choirs of angels (and shepherds, and wise men, and innkeepers, and cows, and sheep, and townspeople, and donkeys, and horses...)! The kids blew us away with the Nativity Pageant last night. Thank you @ashleyherden for making it happen!!

  • Happy St. Nicholas Day!

The amazing, true story of Old Saint Nick is a great one to share with your children this holiday season.

Saint Nicholas was the Bishop of Myra. He was born wealthy, then gave away his riches anonymously to follow Christ.

Can you imagine the joy St. Nicholas felt watching people receive their gifts, not even knowing who gave them? He saved a man’s 3 daughters from poverty by tossing bags of gold into the stockings hung by their fire to dry— and that’s just one of the many ways the Bishop helped people in his life.

When your children ask about Santa this year, tell them the true story of S. Nicholas giving gifts in the name of Christ. The journey to Christ is the true meaning of Advent. Thanks to @kelleighrn for this great St. Nicholas Day story!
  • In Advent, we listen for the good news of the word made flesh. Today, we're looking back on Ben's touching sermon about mourning from 22 Pentecost 2019. Click the link in our bio and scroll to "Latest Sermon" to listen with us.
  • Remember learning about oxymorons in high school? Here’s a refresher: our Jr. and Sr. High EYC made some beautifully ugly Christmas sweaters for their party next Sunday! 6-12th graders, put on your tackiest holiday clothes and come out to the Chapel at 5 on December 15 for the EYC Christmas Party!
