Good Sunday Chapel friends! Good to see so many of you this morning, and we pray you are staying warm! Two announcements:
On Sunday, 29 January, at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall, the parish will gather for our Annual Meeting. On that day, there will be one worship service, at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall, with Holy Eucharist, reports from the Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Treasurer, and Rector, Vestry elections, and a potluck lunch. Children’s Church and nursery will be available during the service and meeting. We hope you and your family will be part of this important moment in our life as a community. Thank you.
As mentioned above, during the annual meeting, we will elect members of the Vestry. The Vestry Nominating Committee has nominated nine communicants: Ray Ballentine, Amanda Camp, George Ezell, Suzanne Files, Rebecca Haas, Ashely Herden, Lesley Kinney, Debbie Lominick, and Jim Russell. We will elect four folks this year, three regular members for three year terms, and one to complete the final two years of Molly Meek’s term, since she has been elected to Senior Warden. Short bios and pictures of the nominees, along with annual reports, will be distributed to the Google group prior to the meeting, and hard copies will be available on the 29th in the Parish Hall.
