All today’s scripture readings really inspired me but since I am a gardener and I like word pictures I chose verse 11 from Isaiah. I think we can all remember the terrible drought we had in late summer and the fall.

Many years ago I was a heavy smoker. Thankfully I have “been quit” for almost thirty years. I had tried to quit a number of times before with no success.
We have completed week one of our Feasibility Study and I am so thankful for all the folks who have participated, the positive energy and good questions shared, and for Tell Flowers, Becky Herren, Brian Martin, and Reggie Sims who have facilitated our discussions.
This lyrical hymn of ancient Israel makes it seem so easy to discern the righteous from the wicked! Do you think during Biblical times the wicked were well marked, like with a capitol W?
Let’s talk about having things go our way…., or maybe, not having things just how we’d like them. We have all known our own difficulties, grief, and sorrows, and have known so many others with theirs, often even more arduous.
